A scene full of action deserves to be on your wall. The Romanian Heinkel He 112 is shooting down a Russian Ilyushin Il-4. Painted by Thijs Postma in the summer of 2023.

The Heinkel He 112 was a German fighter and designed by Walter and Siegfried Günther in 1933. Their inspiration came from the He 70 ‘Blitz’. Romania received the He 112’s in April 1939.

The Ilyushin Il-4 (DB-3F) was a Soviet twin-engined long-range bomber and torpedo bomber, widely used by the Soviet Air Force and Soviet Naval Aviation during World War II.
