The Utrecht was the name of the Lockheed L-749 with registration PH-TFE, operated by KLM aka The Flying Dutchman.
The Constellation is one of the most beautiful and popular airliners in the world. KLM was already interested before the Second World War and immediately after the war, KLM-president Albert Plesman ordered six L-049s.
The L-749 was derived from the L-649 which in turn was the improved version of the L-049.
