Admire the courageous Dutch East Indies Army (KNIL) in the Martin 139 and 144 bombers attacking the Japanese fleet near Tarakan.
On January 13th, 1942 the Dutch patrol “Lukkien” fought gallantly against the Japanese, even though the Martin bombers were already outdated. In the front is a Martin 139 and in the background there are two Martin 144’s. The Japanese shot down two Martins on this patrol.
High quality poster with an aluminum frame. Reproduction of original handmade painting by Thijs Postma.
