An historical image of De Havilland DH.9 flying along the railroad tracks. The DH.9’s were used by KLM to fly from Amsterdam to London in the 1920s in about 2 hours.
In 1920 KLM bought its own aircraft. These DH.9s were modified bombers, with passengers sitting in the open air.
