The Fokker F.7A, registration H-NACT is on its adventure with a beautiful sky in the background. The details and the angle of the aircraft make it difficult to paint.
Though officially the Fokker F.7A was an improved version of the F.7, it was redesigned so much that it was a new aircraft. It was fast and more agile than its predecessor with rounded wingtips and built-in ailerons.
Also the Fokker F.7A was the first airliner with an air-cooled engine and could carry 8 passengers.
The Fokker F.7A’s became operational in March 1925.
Unfortunately the H-NACT was destroyed on May 10th, 1940 at Schiphol Airport during the bombardment.
High quality poster. Reproduction of original handmade painting by Thijs Postma.
