The Swedish aviation industry has produced a number of masterpieces.
One of these masterpieces is the Draken, dating back to 1955. This flying wing, with revolutionary double delta configuration, was capable of flying at very high as well as very low speeds. It was capable to operate from roads and dispersed airstrips. Armed with guided missiles and with a maximum speed of Mach 2, it was a formidable interceptor.
