You have to have this gorgeous Constellation scene painted by Thijs Postma at the end of 2022.
The 'Franeker' flies over Schiphol Airport in 1946-1947. The tower was rented from the Royal Air Force and the wooden buildings were still being constructed.
The Constellation is one of the most beautiful and popular airliners in the world. KLM was already interested before the Second World War and immediately after the war, KLM-president Albert Plesman ordered six L-049s.
