Thijs Postma - Poster - Fokker D.XVII Lined Up
EAN:
The Fokker D.XVII was the last biplane fighter built by Fokker. Also one of the most beautiful as you can see.
In 1932, the Dutch Army Aviation Group (LVA) ordered 10 Fokker D.XVII’s (D.17’s). In 1935 the Fokker D.XVII set a new altitude record of 10,180 meters (over 33,000 feet). At the start of World War II, seven of them were still in service as trainers and were used to accompany Fokker C-VII’s during bombardments of German lines.
