Because of increasing need for more passengers, the Fokker F.5’s was too small. The Fokker F.VII had a cabin for 8 passengers and for the first time, a toilet and a luggage compartment in the rear of the cabin.
KLM made the first flight with the prototype of the Fokker F.7 to the Dutch Indies (Indonesia) in 1924.
