A Dornier Do 24K flying boat of the Dutch Navy takes off for a reconnaissance flight in the Dutch Indies. The colors of the skies are just amazing.
This ‘X-32’ sank the Japanese destroyer ‘Shinonome’.
The Do 24 was one of the best flying boats of the Second World War. It was designed at the request of the Dutch Navy. Crews preferred the Do 24 over the Catalina.
Poster van hoge kwaliteit. Reproductie van origineel handgemaakt gouache schilderij van Thijs Postma.
