Taste the atmosphere of this bright aircraft in the dark skies over Finland during the Finnish-Russian war. A Finnish D.XXI attacks a Russian Tupolev SB-2 bomber during the Finnish-Russian war in 1939-1940.
The Fokker D.XXI was developed as a cheap aircraft in the Netherlands in the 1930’s and also sold to the Finnish Air Force who built it under license.
Some Dutch D.XXI were captured by the Germans after the Netherlands was overrun and used by the Luftwaffe.
Poster van hoge kwaliteit. Reproductie van origineel handgemaakt gouache schilderij van Thijs Postma.
