Description:
The Fokker D.VII was developed in Germany during World War I. It was the most successful fighter of the First World War. After the Armistice they had to be surrendered to the Allies or destroyed according to the armistice. However, Mr. Fokker smuggled some airframes to the neutral Netherlands, where they were completed. The airplanes were used by the Dutch Army Aviation Group (LVA). The airplane shown is powered by a BMW engine.
